Take a unique tour of Boston by Duck Boat: an amphibian vehicle from the Second World War, fully revamped for a fun trip!

You will be welcomed on board by this unusual vehicle's conDUCKtor, who will tell you stories and anecdotes throughout your tour (in English). Audio guides are available for non-English-speaking participants on the 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm tours (French German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese).

Discover Boston's most beautiful sites by land and sea as your Duck Boat splashes into the Charles River after a trip through town! Set off on a 20-minute cruise where you can admire the superb views of the city.

You will pass by the following sites:

  • The Christian Science Church
  • Copley Square
  • Boston Common and its famous swan boats
  • The charming historic neighborhood of Beacon Hill and its red-brick houses
  • Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge, the widest cable-stayed bridge in the world

  • Availability: every day from March to November
  • Departure point: Prudential Center, the Museum of Science or the New England Aquarium
  • Duration: 80 minutes (including 20 minutes on the water)
  • Times
    September to November: 9am to 3pm
    March to June: 9am to 6pm
    July to August: 9am to 7pm
  • Departures every 30 minutes. Just arrive 30 min. before the start of your chosen tour. At weekends and in the summer, you can also reserve seats for a specifique time by calling the number indicated on your voucher or going to one of the central ticket offices at the beginning of the day
  • Language: tour commentated in English. Audio guides are also available at the following times only: 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm (French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Japanese)
                               
  • To take part in this activity, please present your voucher to the service provider when you arrive
  • The tour takes place in all weather. The duck boat is a closed vehicle and is heated in winter
  • The itinerary may be modified in exceptional circumstances
  • You may not bring alcoholic beverages on board, and any inebriated person will be refused access to the tour
  • This is a non-stop sightseeing tour and you may not alight from the vehicle for the duration
  • Participants paying reduced tariffs (children, seniors, students) will be required to present valid proof of ID or your student card
  • The tour is wheelchair accessible
