Description

Set off from Dublin to explore the Giant’s Causeway. Head to Northern Ireland on the train and go on a guided excursion to admire the villages on the wild Atlantic coast!

You will meet your guide at Connolly Station in Dublin and board a train to Belfast. On your way, your guide will tell you plenty of stories about the towns you travel through.

Upon arrival in Belfast, you will get on a bus and explore the Irish Atlantic coast.

First, stop for a photo break in the village of Carrickfergus, before carrying on to the north, passing the coastal villages of Carnlough, Glenariff, Cushendall and Cushendun. Take in the views of the cliffs on the Antrim coast. On a clear day, you might even be able to see the Mull of Kyntyre, the headland in the south of Scotland.

Then, head inland to the town of Ballycastle, before reaching the 30m-high Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, which joins the island of Carrick with Ireland.

Finally, you will arrive at the Giant’s Causeway. You can spend 2 full hours here at the heart of a natural volcanic formation, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

At the end of your visit, you will go back to Belfast and arrive in Dublin by train in the early evening.
