See the best of Frankfurt and the surrounding region thanks to a guided tour of the city followed by a trip in the Rhine Valley!
Start the day with a 2-hour guided tour of the city by bus and on foot, during which your guide will show you the key sites and monuments of Frankfurt. Travel through the city and learn more about its history, from the time when Frankfurt hosted the coronation of the Prussian emperors to its present stature as the headquarters for the European Central Bank.
After the city tour, you’ll set off from Frankfurt by bus to visit the Rhine Valley. Travel along the river to admire the valley region, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You’ll then board a motor boat to admire the gorges of the Rhine from the water. As you navigate the river from Kaub to Rüdesheim, you’ll see the picturesque villages and German castles that look onto the Rhine from the banks.
Disembark from the boat to visit a local tavern and take part in a wine-tasting session before dining at the riverfront.
After your meal, you’ll make your way back to Frankfurt in the evening.
