Description

Discover the world of perfume at the International Museum of Perfume!

This unique museum is located in the city of Grasse, the cradle of luxury perfume.

With your audio guide, spend 2 hours visiting the museum and listen to commentary throughout the entire tour. Learn about the history of fragrances and the many aspects of creating them: The first materials used, fabrication, the industry, innovation, trade, design, and use.

There is a special tour specifically for children. For visitors under the age of 7, the museum has a fun olfactory tour, which involves touching, manipulating objects, and smelling different scents. They too will uncover the mystery of perfumes and the Provencal traditions that go along with them.

The temporary expositions for 2020-2021 :

  1. Leonetto Cappiello, "l'Affiche et la Parfumerie", from September 18th to March 7th 2021
  2. The Powdermakers Century (1880-1980), from May 28th to October 3rd 2021

Let yourself be carried into a universe of smells, and spend a moment in the heart of Grasse!
