Description
You will leave for Petrópolis, situated at 60km from Rio, in the morning when a shuttle will collect you from your hotel. 'The Stone City' takes its name from the first emperor of Brazil, Pedro I.
You will begin your trip with a visit to the Imperial Museum, the summer residence of Emperor Pedro II which still houses period furniture and jewels. You will then continue on to the gothic cathedral where Princess Isabel of Brazil was buried by her father's side.
Your last stop of the day will be to the Crystal Palace; you will visit this building, constructed in France and transported to Brazil where Isabel, the Imperial Princess organised numerous exhibitions and receptions.

- Validity: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday (except December 25, January 1 & February 9 and 12).
- Duration: 10 hours
- Departure time: 10.00. A shuttle will collect you from your hotel
- To take part in this activity you will need to present your voucher to the service provider on the day.
- You will need to phone the service provider once you are in Rio in order to arrange the exact time and place of your hotel pick-up. Your hotel reception can make this call. The number will be on your voucher.

No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied:
Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
