Discover the museum in Belvedere Palace in Vienna, which is part of UNESCO's World Heritage List!

Built in the 18th century by the Baroque architect Johann Lucas von Hildebrant, the palace was originally the secondary residence of Prince Eugene de Savoy. Today, the Belvedere is home to the largest collection of Austrian art from the Middle Ages in the world. It also hosts numerous exhibits from international artists such as Claude Monet, Van Gogh, and Max Beckmann.

In the main Belvedere museum, visitors can discover the permanent collecctions, notably the biggest collection of Gustav Klimt's work in the world.

The smaller Belvedere and the Orangerie host temporary exhibits and show Austrian art. In the stables of the palae, you can see midieval art.

Finally, contemporary art lovers will enjoy the Belvedere 21, which won the Grand Prix for architecture.

The permanent collections are shown in the Upper Belvedere and temporary exhibits in the Lower Belvedere and Stables
